Hor Mok, Fish Mousse

Hor Mok is not specifically Phuket or Southern Thailand's food, but this type and taste of Hor Mok belongs to Southern Thailand.. Phuket style. Central Thailand has its own version. Personally I like Southern style better with the aroma and smooth taste.

Anyway, Hor Mok is made of coconut milk, chili paste, fish and some secret ingredients that I don't know. All those are put together in banana leaf to be steamed or grilled.

Malaysians call this O-tah O-tah (spelling??). A friend of mine takes this Hor Mok back to Malaysia almost everytime he visits Phuket.. like 100 of them each time.
