The orange bits on the flat noodle are dried shrimp. |
Kuay Teaw Lord or Chinese Flat Noodles are great for a midday or late-night snack as it is quite light.
The noodle is mixed with a brown Chinese light sauce, bean sprouts, tofu, mushrooms, sometimes intestines (but I swear you can't tell it's an intestine because in the sauce everything tastes the same.. no smell) and lots of crispy, chopped garlic.
These shops are in Chinatown, Yaowarat Road, and the dish cost about 30-40 Baht which was quite expensive. Anywhere else should be 20 to 30 Baht.
